Saturday, 13 March : HGNA Yoga Club

HGNA is introducing Yoga Club as a way to help girls positively cope with stress, strengthen their physical boday, clear their minds, and make better choices. Yoga Club will begin at 7pm with an hour of yoga, followed by an hour of downtime to relax, reflect and socailize with friends and refreshments. Girls can come to one or as many of the sessions as they would like. Just email an RSVP to yogaclub@hgna.org for the date or dates you are interested in attending and you will receive an email confirmation. Space is limited to 30 girls per session. Yoga Club is being offered FREE to girls in grades 7 and 8, with no previous yoga experience necessary. Saturday nights: January 9, February 13, March 13, April 10, May 8

Chick Chat is a one day workshop presented by Helping Girls Navigate Adolescence (HGNA) for 4th-6th grade girls that provides a safe, nurturing environment where they can learn about themselves, build their self concept and have fun! Girls leave feeling empowered to build stronger friendships, make healthy decisions and identify their true selves.

Expectant parents who anticipate delivering at Good Samaritan Hospital will tour the labor and delivery area before birth takes place. Questions will be answered by a health care professional. Expectant parents will feel more comfortable during the labor and delivery experience. We recommend registration of the mom. Each registration includes one couple. This class is conveniently located at Good Samaritan Hospital, Oak Rooms, 3825 Highland Ave, Downers Grove, IL, 60515.

Cash or personal checks accepted. No strollers will be allowed due to space limitations. Hosted byDuPage Doubles, Double Blessing and two other clubs.
