Double Blessings
First established in 1974, Double Blessings Mothers of Twins Club is a not-for-profit organization formed to support and assist parents of twins, triplets and more. We share information about the care and special issues concerning our children among educators, doctors, specialists and ourselves. Monthly meetings consist of social, educational, and business topics. Other special activities (mom and tot outings, moms night out, holiday parties...) are scheduled on a regular basis. If you are a parent of multiples or are expecting multiples we invite you to join us! Double Blessings serves many of Chicago's Western Suburbs including Wheaton, Winfield, West Chicago, Glen Ellyn, Carol Stream, Bloomingdale, Lombard, Glendale Heights, Warrenville, Bartlett, Hanover Park, Roselle and Naperville. DuPage Doubles Mothers of Multiples Club is a support group for mothers, or soon-to-be mothers, of twins, triplets, or more. Meetings are held in a n educational and social setting, in order to exchange information and ideas pertaining to the growth and development of multiples and providing support through fellowship. Each meeting includes lots of time for socializing and a snack, a special speaker or other presentation, and some club business. In addition, special event parties and two clothing and equipment sales a year are held. There is a $30 annual membership fee.

Hours: 9 class series meeting Tuesday and Thursday evenings 7-9:30pm
This is a series designed for the family expecting twins or more. Tuesday evening topics include nutrition, prenatal care, potential risks of multiple pregnancy, strategies to cope with labor including relaxation and breathing, vaginal or Cesarean delivery and postpartum concerns. Thursday evening classes include breastfeeding your multiples, baby care for multiples, and a tour of the OB unit. Attendance during your second trimester in encouraged. Location: Education Center. Fee: $150/couple
