Family Focus Aurora is Aurora’s first-ever comprehensive family support center for Spanish-speaking families. It features an extensive arts program for teens and provides the only area after-school program that includes bus transportation. Family Focus also provides: home visits, drop-in support from trained family support staff, child development information, classes in ESL, GED, and health, referrals for community mental health, health care, education and job services, and advocacy on public aid, housing, health care, and immigration issues

Family Focus/Nuestra Familia (FFNF) is a leading advocate for change in the communities where its participants live. FFNF works with community organizations, government agencies and local businesses as a resource and network against crime, gang violence and unemployment for the betterment of the community. FFNF offers well-rounded social services to counter the challenges, both traditional and non-traditional families (I.e., foster families and Kinship care) encounter by supporting families with their specific needs. FFNF core programs consist of Child Development, Adult and Youth leadership, community development and Foster Support Services. Assistance with food, rent, utilities, and medications is available to qualified residents. Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) applications are taken from September to May, or depending on available funding. Access DuPage applications are also taken by appointment only. The General Assistance office operates a food pantry based solely on private contributions. It also administers Salvation Army funds for Lombard residents. To meet with a caseworker, please call 620-2400 for an appointment, Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Senior Center Services include: Senior Ride program -arranges transportation to grocery stores, medical appointments, and general shopping, meal delivery to homebound seniors, driving courses, hearing tests, and recreational activities. Senior Center staff also helps members with medical claims and applications for energy assistance and other federal senior programs.
Food Pantry Hours: M, T, Th 9–11:00 and 1–3:00, W, F 9–11:00. York Township residents only. Must provide proof of income, social security card and proof of address
