Early Head Start serves pregnant women, infants and toddlers from birth to three years of age and their families.
Head Start serves 3, 4, and 5-year-old children and their families.
Early Head Start center-based, all-day classrooms are available. To qualify, families need to qualify for the Illinois Childcare Subsidy through the YWCA, which means that parents must be working or in school during normal operating hours. The classrooms are open from 7:00am-6:00pm Monday through Friday. Families receive regular home visits throughout the year, are invited to monthly parent meetings, and have daily contact with their child's teachers.

Family Focus Aurora is Aurora’s first-ever comprehensive family support center for Spanish-speaking families. It features an extensive arts program for teens and provides the only area after-school program that includes bus transportation. Family Focus also provides: home visits, drop-in support from trained family support staff, child development information, classes in ESL, GED, and health, referrals for community mental health, health care, education and job services, and advocacy on public aid, housing, health care, and immigration issues

Family Focus/Nuestra Familia (FFNF) is a leading advocate for change in the communities where its participants live. Parent Mentor Program is administered by NCO and supported by the Naperville Exchange Club. It was founded as a National Exchange Club program for the prevention of child abuse. This program promotes healthy families by providing volunteer mentoring support to families under stress who seek to improve their parenting skills and manage their households in a positive and healthy way.
